14 Jan Kickstartimg 2025 with a Focus on State-Wide Collaboration and Pathways to Success
Networks across the state are excited to embark on 2025 with a renewed sense of purpose and commitment to supporting young people.
With a track record of bridging the gap between education and employment, VicLLENs remain dedicated to creating meaningful opportunities for young Victorians.
Key Priorities for 2025:
Expanding State-Wide Collaboration: Recognising the importance of a coordinated approach, VicLLENs will focus on making it easier for both big and small businesses to connect with their local LEN. By streamlining these connections, we aim to foster stronger partnerships that address local challenges while supporting state-wide initiatives. Our work not only provides immediate opportunities but also lays the foundation for long-term economic growth and social cohesion in Victoria.
Strengthening Partnerships: VicLLENs will continue to work closely with schools, TAFEs, businesses, and community organisations to develop tailored pathways that meet the specific needs of students.
Expanding Work Placements and Apprenticeships: Building on our achievements of over 25,000 School to Work placements since 2016 and a current network of 6,500 active employers, we will focus on increasing opportunities for work placements, apprenticeships, and industry exposure. These initiatives are critical in equipping young people with the skills and experience necessary for the workforce.
Empowering Young People: At the heart of our mission is helping young people discover their aspirations and uncover their potential. Through innovative programs and targeted support, LLENs across the state will continue to empower the next generation to achieve their goals.
As we move forward in 2025, VicLLENs remain steadfast in our commitment to fostering innovation, collaboration, and growth across Victoria.
